Dear friend,
If you notice that I’m doing something that might seem wrong to you
in Allah’s eyes, please tell me right away. Just tell me honestly but
respectfully (and privately). I know it will be hurtful in the beginning
but please be assured that I will take it seriously. I will know that
you are doing this for my own good, inshaAllah.
If you notice the wrongs that I’ve done and that you are just looking
at me - either you are afraid that it will hurt me or that you are
waiting for the ‘right’ moment, please stop making a fool out of myself.
I’m sorry to tell you that there is no ‘right’ moment as right as the
first time you noticed it.
I will not be as hurt as in the latter if only you remind me of my
mistakes the first time you notice it. In fact, I will be thankful to
you just because I know you genuinely care for me, not just for the
means living in this Dunya, but most importantly for the end, i.e.
living in the Akhirah. I will know that you truly love me for the sake
of Allah, and nothing else.
I hope and pray that this will reach you safely and this humble
message of mine could be conveyed to other parts of your body, not just
your soul. An intention, followed by actions is the best form of deeds,
good deeds, inshaAllah.
May Allah SWT guide us in the right path, help us improve our
characters and grant our du’a to be the best Muslim that we could ever
be. Ameen ya rabbi al ‘alameen.
